How Geopolitical Tensions Are Impacting B2B Marketing Spend

According to Plural Strategy Group, B2B marketers in the US and Europe are concerned about geopolitical tensions and adjusting their budgets. The report was based on a survey of 250 B2B marketers and includes forecasts for future spending.

49% of B2B marketers are somewhat concerned about geopolitical tensions and 29% are very concerned. 55% are being cautious with spending and 43% are focusing on short-term goals. The forecast shows a 5.2% CAGR increase in B2B marketing spend between 2025 and 2030.

The report was based on a survey conducted in February and March 2025 among 250 B2B marketers in the US and Europe. The researchers also developed forecasts based on economic indicators and published data. Continued uncertainties may cause downward revisions to the forecast.
